Our baby step started at Calcutta in 2008 with overwhelming support from several galleries and art collectors, slowly we grew up with extending our area of work by involving ourselves with various museums, art galleries and institutions spread over different states of India. We have executed several prestigious projects and have been entrusted with the responsibility of conserving works of master craftsmen and artists alike.


Vivify also works as a consortium in collaboration with Heritage Conservators New Delhi (www.heritageconservators.net) for Conservation of Heritage buildings, interiors, wall Paintings, Fresco (Secco & Buenno), murals.

  • Create opportunities for young conservators and artists
  • Organise various outreach programmes - such as imparting training to young volunteers, workshops and on site lectures on new techniques in the field of archaeology, museology and conservation of art & antiquities;
  • Create self employment opportunities for the community in general in order to improve their living standard and financial dependence.
  • AND MOST IMPORTANTLY,
    Organise awareness programme for the private collectors and galleries and the common people to preserve their own art collection and heritage.

How We Work With You

Your artwork will first be thoroughly examined and tested to establish the Condition. Next we determine the Treatment for the painting utilizing contemporary scientific models. The treatment on the painting is carried out; using only museum standard conservation methods and methodologies established by International Standard recognized institutes of conservation laboratory worldwide. Each treatment is thoroughly documented with photographs, graphical and written reports.

As a Professional Associate we adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and standards recognized by the America and U.K. If we need to travel to your location to give you an estimate for your painting or artefact we can provide the following services:

  • Expert analysis and chemical cleaning tests
  • Condition Report with photographs and inventory documentation
  • An estimate for restoration and conservation
